You've probably figured out by now that blogging is not really my thing. I would much rather just post a lot of pictures and let you make your own story up about what we were doing at the time. However, I'm going to keep this thing up if it kills me!
Not much has happened in the past few weeks in the Marks household. Ryder is LOVING school! He asks to go there every morning and doesn't understand why he has to stay home with me on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When we pull up to his school, he does this excited little shiver and yells "Skoo!" He has two really loving teachers and has made a lot of new little friends. He is definitely one of those children who need school, and I'm happy that he likes it so much.
We finally decided to buy Ryder a swingset for the yard. Our next door and back alley neighbors have swingsets and Ryder was always wandering over to their yards to swing. We bought him a medium-sized set with two swings, a trapeze thing, fort, picnic table, ladder/rock wall, and slide. We decided to forfeit the trapeze thing and went with two toddler swings and one regular swing instead. It took Nate about 10 hours in the heat and bugs to put it together, but it was well worth it when we saw Ryder's face the first time he saw it. He just lit up. It was ADORABLE! The neighbor children have been over every night to play and they are having a blast.
We are planning on going to Apalachicola for the weekend to celebrate Nate's dad's birthday. Hopefully, there will be no gator sightings!
