Aftermath of Fay

Who knew what 22 inches of rain could do? Apparently, I had no idea exactly what that much water would do to our city. On our way to church this morning, we saw numerous downed trees, a couple of wrecks, and two sink holes on Capital Circle. We were pretty fortunate in our neck of the woods...only went without power for a 10 hours and NO TREES ON OUR HOME! There is water everywhere in our neighborhood as you will see below. Hopefully, Tallahassee will get back to normal sometime this week. If this is what a Tropical Storm does to a city you can count me out of a hurricane!

A road in the center of the neighborhood
Town Center is the building in the back right

Where the sidewalk ends and water begins
This sidewalk goes all the way around the lake

Water all the way up to the road.

The lake used to be about 40 yards back

You can see the tops of the bridge posts in the middle

The water used to be about 2 feet below this bridge
