While Nate and I were in Canada, Ryder was getting spoiled rotten in Alabama with my mom, grandparents, and other family members. I drove him up a few days before we left, and hung out to "ease" the change of not being with his mom. Apparently, I thought that Ryder would have a little difficulty without his parents around. Ha!
According to my mom, Ryder didn't miss us at all. This was proven true everytime we called to talk to him and he screamed "NO" over the phone. His days were filled with riding the Gator, checking on Daddy Wayne's cows, playing with a box full of new trucks in the driveway and carport, eating Nana's home cooking, getting to wear pajamas and Crocs all day, visiting old friends, and becoming SPOILED ROTTEN. What more could a boy ask for?
Ryder definitely took being away from us better than we did. I only cried once, but missed him a little more everyday. We got in late Sunday night. So, we didn't get to see him awake until Monday and he still wanted to hang out with my mom more than us. I'm telling you...ROTTEN! Thank you to all of my family in Alabama and my mom for taking such good care of my baby. Also, thank you to PawPaw Neal and Mrs. Fran for the cool remote control car...Ryder's first.
